Cybershrooms (archived)

Summary

It is said long ago, somewhere deep in cyberspace from a realm parallel to our own but invisible to the untrained eye, spores suspended in space; floating with no apparent motive – suddenly affixed themselves to a sequence to form a spawn, which supported the growth of the thread-like bodies, similar to a system of circuits on a board, cyber mycelium – better known today as Cybershrooms.

ZAP Dashboard (archived)

Summary

Zap Dashboard serves as a spatial visualization of the live miner submissions collected and computed via AWS Lambda and Elasticache of DevNet. Using react’s d3 force graph package, 2 dimensional texts are converted into 3-dimensional spatial and interactive layout. The collective data computation is supported by the Redis caching for concurrency, then stored and loaded as IPFS’ Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs).

ZapOracles

Summary

The Zap Oracles Network is made up of validators who support the network by validating off-chain data of price feeds and Forex respectively. The network utilizes a hybrid Proof-of-Work (POW) algorithm as a form of consensus with a staking aspect provided by the validator. The Zap Oracle Network seeks to supply those seeking to use off-chain data needed to execute the terms of their agreements. To accomplish this, Zap organizes a bidding period where contract holders can contribute to pooled bids for specific data requests (e.g. the price of BTC/USD). The five highest-bid pools’ corresponding data responses are then sent to the network of validators who return their estimate of the price.
